เทศน์มหาชาติ (บุญผะเวส) Amsterdam

Dhamma Talk, “Vessantara Chataka”, in Thai “Maha Vessandon Chadok” is one of the most popular Buddhist sermons.  The story is about one of the Lord Buddha’s past lives, which was the last before he reincarnated and became enlightened as a Lord Buddha.  In the story, the Lord Buddha was born as a compassionate prince, Vessantara, who gives away everything he owns, including his children, thereby displaying the virtue of perfect charity.  It is also known as the Great Birth Sermon.
